My coaching is a bit different than a normal Personal training plan. First, because I don't just do personal training. So, let's back up and take a look at how this process works. A little bit of background on Behavior change theory:

Basically there are stages to changing a behavior. Precontemplation is knowing that you want to change, but maybe not knowing where to start, it's too hard, or you just don't have the energy. Contemplation usually indicates that you are tired of being where you are and are getting ready to change but there are still barriers in your way. Preparation is when you have those barriers but you are willing to make that next step. Action is doing what you planned. Maintenance is keeping that new behavior going. And relapse is failure, it will happen. There will be some thing at some time that will mess you up and that behavior will cease, then it's where do you end up. Do you stop the behavior all together, or do you adapt to the change?

My coaching focuses on discussing the challenges that are apparent and adjusting to those that arise unexpectedly. Recognizing that failure presents a chance for development and progress will enable you to better handle future challenges.
